Hi, I’m Chloe! Thanks so much for visiting my site!
I’m a Chinese-Malaysian American, a life-long Pacific Northwester, and a travel and lifestyle blogger.
At bonvoyagechloe.com, you can expect to see travel itineraries, travel vignettes (think: a page out of my travel journal, reflecting on art, culture and history in the places I visit), and lifestyle posts (wellness, interviews with people who inspire me, and more).
I have a lifelong passion for exploring and seek to understand the culture and beauty of the places I visit. I’ve hiked through snowy mountains in Washington, danced under the glow of Chihuly Gardens in Seattle, eaten mouth-watering hawker food with family in Ipoh, Malaysia, and dived into the clear azure waters of Sorrento, Italy. From a young age, I would create travel journals – well-loved, sometimes leather-bound, sometimes spiral-bound, filled with memories, carefully catalogued itineraries, a pressed wildflower here, a coin from a foreign country taped to the back of the page there.
My passion for collecting and sharing memories and the multicultural lens I bring to the table stems from my heritage and a passionate pursuit of all things travel and art. It’s the brush that adds color to the work I do; celebrating cultural perspective is something deeply rooted in my being. I believe life should be lived colorfully; that everyone should take a daily multivitamin; that food is a love language; that travel itineraries should be packed to the brim, that sunsets are masterpieces, and that writing is therapy.
Outside of my Instagram and blog, I work at a management consulting firm, conducting marketing and digital strategy work for clients across industries spanning from gender and social equality non-profits to your favorite skincare products. I love what I do and am proud to leverage my finance and marketing degree to develop go-to-market strategies, improve business operations, and craft social media digital platform campaign strategies!
A few fun facts about me: I trained in classical ballet and danced for 16 years, I love to cook and bake, I read Bon Appetit cover-to-cover with my family on weekends, I love skincare, and I’m a wellness enthusiast (give me ALL the barre, yoga, and YouTube HIIT workouts, and let me tell you about my love for meditation!)
This site is meant to be a resource to share tips about travel and lifestyle and a place to reflect on my learnings. I’m looking forward to growing together – please don’t hesitate to reach out and say “hello”!
Thanks for visiting! See you again soon 🙂
